Just painted for the first time in months.
For a moment everything made sense
and the world, it melted away.

To all architecture students, I strongly recommend you purchase this book for when you go into practice. It is really useful for giving you information on all those little questions you will end up asking on a daily basis such as “how big does a table need to be to sit 5 people”, “will a lorry be able to turn into that car park” or “will an ironing board fit into that cupboard”.

Part of the way through the Union St Tunnel is this air shaft which emerges in the back gardens of the houses above and can be seen from the road. The drop from the top of the air shaft to the tunnel floor is about 20 metres (just an estimate) and when looking up you can see the various parts of the rock that they had to dig through to create it.
